NICE publishes tinnitus guideline

The National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has evidence-based guidance on how to assess and manage tinnitus.

Tinnitus: assessment and management includes detailed guideline on the assessment, investigation and management of tinnitus in primary, community and secondary care. The guideline offers advice to healthcare professionals on supporting people presenting with tinnitus and on when to refer for specialist assessment and management.

Many Hearing Loss and Deafness Alliance members participated in the public consultation and have welcomed the publication of the new NICE guideline.
