Unsupported Hearing Loss
Unsupported hearing loss is a major and growing public health issue. This is because without the right support, people with hearing loss can find it difficult to communicate and are at greater risk of unemployment, social isolation, depression and other mental health issues.
The Action Plan on Hearing Loss
The Alliance is committed to working with all government departments and the NHS in England to successfully deliver the enduring goals set out in the Action Plan on Hearing Loss, published by NHS England and the then Department of Health in 2015.
VAT on Hearing Aids
The Hearing Loss and Deafness Alliance is calling on the government to review the rate of VAT on hearing aids.
